As a designer, I often look at sites for inspiration. Sometimes you just need a break to refresh during the work day! These are mostly print design sites; they’re ones that I personally love and look at regularly for inspiration:
Editorial Design Served – A Behance Served site, Editorial Design Served features print documents such as magazines, brochures, newspapers, photo books, etc. The documents range from modern design to more of a corporate, classic look. It’s a great inspiration source for print design.
From Up North – Anything from product design, web design, packaging, or print design can be found on From Up North. They showcase beautiful and innovative designs and my personal favorite section is the logo inspiration.
Designer’s Insights – If you need a basic framework for print design as far as grids, folds, types of binding, etc., Designers Insights is very informative.
Pantone – Pantone is a leader in color. I absolutely love their color of the year, Marsala, a beautiful wine color. Color forecasts, trends, and fashion color reports can be found on their site.
Pinterest – This is a pretty obvious one. No explanation needed, right? :)
What’s your favorite site to go to for inspiration? Doesn’t have to be design, it could be photography, fashion, etc.!
